The city of São Paulo has passed for several transformations throughout its history. Some of these transformations were registered in photos that allow analyzing how the environment has impacted the photographic imaginary of three artists, in different historical moments, contributing to the development of a specific reading of urban images and for the register of these images in a particular way. This article proposes a dialogue between Edgar Morin and Maurice Halbwachs to study the relationship between that transformations and photographic imaginary.Downloads
