The documentary and the instillation of belief

This paper investigates some procedures applied by filmmakers to grant credibility to the documentary narrative and to activate some belief in the audience, so that it can validate the supposed link between this domain and factuality, despite the increase of reflexivity that denounce the film writing and its discursive nature.
