Abstract

It is known that “Politique des auteurs”, or “Author Théorie” as it was named by Andrew Sarris when he brought it to the USA, was conceived and had its evolution starting from the commercial fiction film, and was not concerned about other cinematographic practices as documentary film. This articles aims to throw some light on this subject.
