Abstract

This article presents a study of the film Belle de jour, by Luis Buñuel, based on the text “Sobre a poética da carnaval ização em Luis Buñuel” by Eduardo Peñuela Cañizal, on Mikhail Bakhtin’s theoretical conception about carnival, on Gaston Bachelard’s ideas about the oneiric, on Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis and on the notion of the frame structure sustained by Groupe p.
