Estado de ánimo de estudiantes de posgrado de Mato Grosso durante la pandemia de COVID-19

Objetivo: investigar el estado de ánimo de los estudiantes de posgrado durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Metodología: se trata de un estudio transversal y cuantitativo. La población estuvo compuesta por estudiantes de programas de posgrados stricto sensu en el área de la salud. Los datos fueron recolectados mediante dos instrumentos, un cuestionario sociodemográfico y la Escala de Estado de Ánimo Brunel por medio de un formulario digital. Se aplicó un análisis multivariado de varianza. Las diferencias univariadas entre los promedios se verificaron mediante la prueba de Tukey, con un nivel de significancia de 0,05. Resultados: predominó el sexo femenino, edad entre 19 y 29 años, ingresos mensuales superiores a cuatro salarios mínimos y con empleo paralelo al posgrado. En todas las variables se encontró significación estadística multivariada (p<0,05). En el análisis univariado de la comparación de los promedios de las variables dependientes por género, hubo significación estadística solo entre los promedios para la variable vigor (p=0,001). Conclusión: los determinantes sociodemográficos pueden ser predictores de riesgo para el desarrollo de trastornos del estado de ánimo a lo largo de la vida. Por lo tanto, las acciones de promoción de la salud mental entre estudiantes de posgrado en el campo de la salud son fundamentales para mantener la calidad de vida y el bienestar emocional de esta población, mediante el apoyo psicosocial para regular el estado de ánimo y mantener una mejor calidad de salud mental.
