Cuidados de enfermagem para crianças com transtornos mentais: revisão integrativa da literatura

Objetivo: conhecer quais são as evidências encontradas na literatura sobre o cuidado de enfermagem realizado com crianças com transtornos mentais. Metodologia: revisão integrativa da literatura, cuja busca foi realizada nas bases de dados National Library of Medicine, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, SciVerse Scopus, Cummulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature e Web of Science, por meio dos descritores “enfermagem pediátrica”, “enfermagem psiquiátrica” e “transtornos mentais”. A análise dos dados consistiu em duas fases: leitura e avaliação dos resumos; e leitura dos artigos completos após seleção na fase anterior. Resultados: foram selecionados 24 artigos e constatou-se fraco nível de evidência sobre o cuidado investigado, que encontra-se pautado em modelos de atenção à saúde, com ênfase no modelo biomédico e biopsicossocial. Conclusão: o cuidado de enfermagem para crianças com transtornos mentais pode avançar em consonância com o modelo de atenção biopsicossocial e com a enfermagem psiquiátrica por meio do matriciamento e do uso do Processo de Enfermagem. O enfermeiro pode realizar o cuidado centrado na criança que vive em um meio social, construindo parceria com pais e familiares e ofertando cuidado pautado em referenciais teóricos que embasam o relacionamento.
