The text deals about the possibility to establish different scientific fields where interest focus would be Religion or Secularism. In the development I try to demonstrate that this is a false question, since religion (or religions) and secularism are both sons of the same culture and faces of the same coin, and therefore can not be dissociated one for another thus turning impossible to talk about distinct scientific fields. I understand that it is a question which is inserted in the discursive and culture fields and the solution for the apparent contradiction between these two fields passes through the exchange of enunciation and discourses of the different positions.
