Primo Levi and Shalamov: testimonies

Primo Levi spent a year in Auschwitz and wrote the most of his work about this experience. Shalamov spent seventeen years in GULAG labor camps: his main work, Kolyma Tales, memory and fiction, is about this phase. This paper aims to
approach these two authors, for the literary quality of their works, for their hard prose, for their testimonies.
