In this paper we study the national and religious discourse founded in Hebrew’s teaching material, produced by a school in the city of Sao Paulo. Considering both Zionist ideology and the Jewish sources’s influence over the modern hebrew’s formation, we understand that the relation between the two discursive approaches represents a specific pedagogical and ideological project. Therefor, the main goal is to understand how those elements are incorporated in the didactic material used for Hebrew teaching outside of Israel.
