This article presents a master degree research about the implications of the biblical prohibition of making images in the inhibition of human representation in the iconography of the people of Israel during the biblical period. It was avoided to fabricate human images in any situation, because there was a fear that the people of Israel was corrupted and worshiped other gods, embracing superstitions and religious syncretism. Later, it began to be made human images that had no function of objects of worship
