Semiotic notes on jotham’s tale (judges 9: 8-15)

The Bible has a diversity of genres and subjects. This work will present one of them: Jotham’s tale, which presents the theme of power, its institution and exercise. For the analytical activity the principles of the greimasian semiotics will be used. Results point to the tension of power struggle, in which an antimonarchical tradition defends its points of view, of which Jotham's apologetic is an example.
