Abstract

V!RUS Journal is a semiannual, fully bilingual Portuguese-English or Spanish-English scientific journal, evaluated as A3 class by the Brazilian Qualis system, on a scale from A1 to B5. V!RUS aims to create a locus of reflection and dialogue about contemporary topics related to the building, the city, and the landscape.

V!RUS Journal only targets academic communication with no commercial interest, and is shared under the CC BY-NC-SA license. Both publishing services and access to all published content are free of charge. The journal does not charge any fees for the services it provides, nor pays for collaborations.

Author Biography

  • Marcelo Cláudio Tramontano, University of Sao Paulo. Institute of Architecture and Urbanism

    Architect and holds a Master's and Doctor degrees in Architecture and Urbanism. He is a professor at the Federal Institute of Sao Paulo, Brazil, an Associate Researcher at Nomads.usp, and the V!RUS Journal's Adjunct Editor. He conducts research on digital architectural design processes in the context of public orders, the inclusion of digital technologies, especially BIM, in participatory decision-making processes, and the teaching of computation in Architecture and Urbanism courses.
