    José Manuel Carrasco Weston holds a bachelor in History from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, member of the Peruvian Association of Economic History and the Multidisciplinary Research Network of Innovation, Business and Commerce (http://www.ibcnetwork.org/). He is a research assistant at the Research Center of the Universidad del Pacifico, where he is attached to the project "Technological transfer and sectoral development in the Peruvian economy 1890-1967" led by Martin Monsalve. His research focuses on business history, economic history and history of technology.
