Abstract

This section brings different voices from writers who narrate their experience as readers of John Banville’s work to pay tribute to his 50 years of an inspiring writing.

  • Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin
    Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin. Born 1942 in Cork, she is an Emeritus Fellow of Trinity College, Dublin.  She has published articles and edited books on medieval and Renaissance literature and on translation, as well as nine collections of poetry, and was Ireland Chair of poetry (2016-2019). Her latest collection, The Mother House (Gallery Press) received the Irish Times / Poetry Now Award, 2020.
