    Celia De Fréine is a poet, translator, playwright and short story, non-fiction and screenplay writer. Celia has published extensively and won several awards, among them the Patrick Kavanagh Award (1994), Best screenplay at the New York International Film Festival, (2009) and Arts Council of Ireland Grants (2013).
