Adaptação transcultural e validade de conteúdo do “Parkinson’s disease quality of life questionnaire for patients on device-aided therapy” para o Português Brasileiro

Objetivo: A doença de Parkinson (DP) é um distúrbio neurodegenerativo crônico e progressivo, caracterizado por sintomas motores e não motores. A terapia assistida por dispositivo (TAD) tem se destacado como uma abordagem promissora no tratamento da DP, reforçando a importância da avaliação da qualidade de vida dos pacientes submetidos a este tipo de intervenção. O objetivo deste estudo foi realizar a adaptação transcultural e avaliar a validade de conteúdo do “Parkinson’s Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire for Patients on Device-Aided Therapy (PDQ-DAT)” para o português brasileiro. Método: Trata-se de um estudo metodológico conduzido no Centro de Especialidades Médicas da Santa Casa em Belo Horizonte, seguindo diretrizes internacionais para a adaptação transcultural. O processo envolveu as seguintes etapas: tradução inicial, síntese das traduções, retrotradução, avaliação por um comitê de especialistas e pré-teste. A versão pré-final do instrumento foi aplicada a uma amostra de trinta pacientes com DP submetidos à estimulação cerebral profunda (ECP). O índice de validade de conteúdo (IVC) foi calculado com base em três critérios: clareza/compreensão, importância/relevância e abrangência. Resultados: A versão adaptada do PDQ-DAT apresentou equivalência semântica, idiomática, cultural e conceitual satisfatória. Os participantes (idade média: 62,7±5,2 anos) relataram facilidade na compreensão dos itens, indicando boa aceitabilidade do instrumento. Todos os itens do PDQ-DAT-Br obtiveram IVC superior a 0,9 nos três critérios avaliados, demonstrando excelente validade de conteúdo. Conclusão: O PDQ-DAT-Br mostrou-se uma ferramenta válida e de fácil aplicação para a avaliação da qualidade de vida de indivíduos com DP submetidos à ECP no contexto brasileiro.
