Abstract

The author relates briefly the development of the Single Fiber Electromyography technique. He describes the jitter phenomenon and its obtainment, and also the Fiber Density study technique. The author presents his laboratory normal pattern for the muscle Extensor Digitorum Communis. And finally he comments its clinical application.
