Sistemática, bioestratigrafia e paleogeografia do gênero Elateropolienites Herngreen 1973 na margem equatorial brasileira

Abstract

Elateropollenites HERNGREEN 1973, originally monoespecific, was described in Lower and Middle Albian sediments of the Barreirinhas basin, Brazil. The genus diagnosis is now emended to include the new species Elateropollenites bicornis n. sp. and Elateropollenites dissimilis n. sp. The biostratigraphy and paleobiogeography of three ones are presented for Brazilian Equatorial Margin.
