This article deals with both the phenomenon of the depoliticization and totalitarianism in the contemporary world. Employing the description proposed by Hannah Arendt on the human activities: labor, work and action, three forms through which men act, we intend to make a brief exposition of the relationships established between these activities and the themes regarding finality and the product of the action as well as the space where it is practised. Therefore, we examined the experience of the Greek world as an inaugural reference of Western society. The aim of this article is to discuss general aspects of the Arendt's theory of the political action
