Sewing together the sections of a tragedy in a minefield through memories that sustain the dignity of a people in their historical experiences of struggle for survival is the objective of this scientific work that combines Museology, Heritage and Education. It is about bringing to light methodologies capable of building identity consciousness stablished on emancipatory educational processes, based on the heritage present in the “Museum of Memories” of Shatila, a Palestinian refugee camp (Lebanon), after the Sabra and Shatila massacre, in 1982. We strive to highlight relevant aspects in this “museum” under construction: the Palestinian tragedy, the set of feelings and emotions translated in relation to the memory objects exposed by refugees, the differentiated spaces of struggles for the production of interdisciplinary ethnocultural knowledge that is linked to political conflicts present in the midst of a civilizing process common in other parts of the world.
