Contemporary social dynamics, marked by accelerated symbolic exchanges with the support of multi-language, have urgently required new teachinglearning processes. The objective of this experience report is to reflect on the process of continuing education to physical education teachers in the city of Natal, RN, using communication concepts that imply new teaching methods. The description is the result of action research and is based on systematic observation of continuing education meetings held in 2016. By using narrative and communication concepts and a mediation process, teachers recognize and reflect on such concepts as they are discussed in their pedagogical practices, allowing them to experience these concepts in daily school routine.
