Abstract

This review presents the work launched in 2022 and coordinated by Fábio Ramos Barbosa Filho and Gabriel de Ávila Othero, both professors and researchers at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. His presentation was divided into three parts: the first describes the work in general and its importance for studies on language and gender today; the second part, the chapters of the book are discussed as well as a presentation of the authors of each text; finally, some criticisms are pointed out in the sense of improvements with the objective of facilitating access for people who are not necessarily from academia.
