The article aims to explore Leyla Perrone-Moisés's articles on literary criticism published in newspapers from 1960 to 2003. To do so, we first discuss her initial theoretical background, which permeated her choices and amazements. Then we focus on three different moments: his first contributions to the Literary Supplement of O Estado de São Paulo, on Blanchot and Barthes, and the polemics with Marxist-inspired criticism in the 1990s and with cultural studies in the early 2000s, in the newspaper Folha de São Paulo. In the three moments, we try to show that, beyond his initial object of criticism, there is always another object on the horizon, producing a multiple criticism of criticism.
