The memory is one of the resources of fictionality used by Chico Buarque to compose O Irmão Alemão (2014), work of autofiction segment. The character Ciccio is involved in the recollection, since his childhood in the 1940's until the year of 2013, when the period of youth, almost all shrouded in the shadows of the military dictatorship, is constructed in a way that expresses the relation of the fragmented subject with the urban.
