The article aimed to analyze the probability of quota-holders graduates from higher education being in an overeducation situation, using the entropy balancing technique associated with Propensity Score Matching (PSM). The sample consisted of UFPB graduates who entered in 2010 and 2011, whose formal labor market information from 2018 was used. The results indicate that, for the entire UFPB, the reservation of vacancies has no significant impact on the probability of quota-holders graduates being in overeducation, but a positive effect was identified for quota-holders with higher salaries.
