The question of modelling rural labor is discussed and a seemingly unrelated regressions (SUR) model is suggested. An application is presented analyzing three labor categories in the State of São Paulo, Brazil; farmer' s family workers, permanent workers and temporary workers. A significant Breusch-Pagan test indicates the need of SUR.
