Resumo

Este artigo apresenta um modelo dinâmico, que tem como objetivo a análise de questões relativas à Balança de Transações Correntes. A estrutura de análise, ou framework, é um modelo de crescimento com otimização intertemporal, dentro de um horizonte de planejamento infinito. Considera-se uma economia aberta e "pequena", com dois setores (tradeables e non-tradeables). As decisões de investimento e poupança são explicitamente modeladas, tendo em
vista suas ligações macroeconômicas com a Balança de Transações Correntes.
