This article starts from the prescription of uses to digital technology in the classrooms that is found in Brazilian official educational documents (Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais, PCN, and Base Nacional Comum Curricular, BNCC) and aims to reflect on how semiotic concepts can help better elaborate these uses. They are problematized on the establishment of truth in discourse (Greimas, 2016) and the effects of exacerbated discours on the internet (Barros, 2011, 2016). It recurs to Hannah Arendt (2014) on her reflections on the presentation of the world to educatees, in order to allow them to establish their perception of the world, both physical and digital, from what is presented. Our objective is to point to ways of reflection for technology to be used, created and better understood, with ethics, reflection and critical thinking, as asked by the BNCC.
