This article aims to discuss and to suggest observation paths to the forms of constructing veridiction in texts, by attempting to show how the description of these mechanisms can be applied in reading activities in the classroom. The theoretical-methodological basis will be the French Semiotics, specifically the discursive level of the generative process of meaning. The texts suggested for analysis and for application in the interpretation activities are the news, its comments and, mainly, fake news that circulate in electronic media. For the student to reach the possible meanings built in the texts, it is suggested to observe the linguistic and discursive mechanisms that support them.
