Abstract

Departing from a dialogue between psychoanalysis and art, this article intends to develop psycho- analytic praxis with children exposed to traumatic situations or highly intense experiences due to a precarious condition of symbolization. The film O menino e o mundo was used in order to better understand the importance of this dialogue and so that we could relate the art object to the central concept of the work, that is, repetition and its relation to psychic constitution mediated by culture. We will discuss possibilities of re-enactment and treatment of the traumatic scene by the subject through art performance.
