Abstract

This article aims to discuss issues related to the symbolic transmission that may occur among children at school , when some of them realize that a classmate is not able to express his/her needs or cannot adjust himself/herself to the school patterns as the other. In doing so, it discusses the notion of transitivism, articulating it with data obtained from field research performed with a group of children aged six and seven years in a full time public school which adhere to inclusive practices.
