Abstract

From the discussion of an university extention work developed by theauthorina public hospitalin Natal,RN, with the Intensive Care Neonatal staff and premature babies mothers confined there,this article delimits the conditions where the work took effect and, then, it proposesa reflection about the matters face daround two theori clines:the firstone about what motherhood can mean related to femininity and these condone discusses the demand linked to desire. Finally, it tries to delineate possible ways fora psychoanalyst practice out of theset tingaimingata contribution to the psychoanalysis applied matters debate
