Abstract

Some educational proposals have been reflecting about concepts that should guide the academical training as well as the educational practices in society. The aim of this article is to present some aspects of the activities developed by the Nucleous of Arts, Languages and subjectivities, from Federal University of Pelotas, southern Brazil, in comitment to the Border Pedagogy and Aesthetics of Ginga, presenting our proposal and actions with the Tutorial Education Program Borders; Popular Knowledges and Practices. We believe that the more we enter within the discursive practices that represent diversity, the more we are enabling us to address the gaps in terms of this particular production. Therefore, we emphasize that our actions represent different approaches from those traditionally employed in our local society, where the arts are our work field in order to touch and stimulate reflections in different social groups, usually putted from the perception of their role in society, to realize their potential, values, importance and ability to change social paradigms.
