Philosophy and History of Biology publishes papers resulting from original research on the philosophy and/or history of biology and its epistemic interfaces as well as on the use of history and philosophy of biology in science education.

The journal accepts papers in Portuguese, Spanish or English and only unpublished texts may be accepted for publication in Philosophy and History of Biology.

All submitted papers will be sent for analysis by two referees using the double-blind system. In case of divergence between the opinions, the work will be analyzed by a third referee.
