Cet article présente une partie des travaux réalisés lors la préparation du DEA à L'Université Rennes 2 en France. Il montre l'intérét de l'utilisation des images orbitales pour la visualisation de l'extension des surfaces et la richesse des informations qui peuvent en étre extraites.
