Abstract

That interview reflected the Vautrin Lud prize dedicated to the Spanish geographer by Horacio Capel Festival International de Géographie in 2008. However, the talk overcame the initial plan and spread to other aspects, such as financial and economic crisis of 2008, the magazine Geocritica and the electronic portal of the same name, the coloquios Geocrítica, the meaning of the periodic evaluation of its editors and also a reflection of geography that is produced in Brazil.
