Forms and strategies to the development of regional research in Geography

This text's objective is to present a methodological proposal for a regional research, from a mixture of a qualitative and quantitative techniques. This way, the necessity of valuing the objective conditions of sciences' reproduction is discussed, that is, financial, material, infra-structural conditions, besides developing a historical valuation of geographic knowledge's areas subjacent to these areas. It's also discussed operational aspects of the research, its collective work character, emphasizing the quality of the relation established between the members of the group with fortuitous interviewed people, and the importance of the consistency of an ample politic project that involves the work group.
