Abstract

We must justify the place that the field occupies in the development of knowledge, which leads us to define a methodological position. In turn, this methodological position, once defined, implies a certain conception of fieldwork that can be associated with it in a dialectic. Moreover, all this follows a pedagogical orientation designed to enable young people to acquire the management of this dialectic under the best possible conditions.

    Formação na Universidade de Paris I - Sorborne que culminou com o título de Docteur d’Etat en Géographie. Exerceu várias funções como professor a serviço das Forças Armadas em Bordeaux, Briançon, Avignon, durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, como professor-assistente na Sorbonne e, desde 1948, como professor naUniversidadedeStrasbourg.
