Among the urban themes, the issue of the production of segregated and valued space in the metropolis has been the object of research of several professionals of Geography and similar fields. Valuing the urban space is caused by its location in the city as well as its urbanisation quality. In this manner, real estate agencies control the value of the land and housing issues depend upon urban citizen´s financial status. In this sense, social spacial unequality is an expression of the urban land price, being represented by such segregation, which reveals itself in the urban framework. According to researches in this field, the social classes framework has been determining space structuring in contemporary metropolis, whereas space segregation has constituted a common aspect of Brazilian metropolis. In Goiânia, such phenomenon has been occurring since its foundation in 1933 in regards to North-South contrasts. The southern region has presented social space peculiarities in what the urban expansion is concerned, mainly due to a high concentration of public investment, service and hight social class. From such issue, this paper has analysed the valuing process of the southern region of Goiânia.Downloads
