Tom of Finland was a homoerotic artist that, through his works, had a strong impact on the change in the representation of the homosexual man, who, at the beginning of the 20th century, was considered not to belong to the male gender, being therefore relegated to a state of non-maleness. belonging, neither man nor woman. This article intends to propose an analysis of Tom's works in order to understand the aesthetics of hypermasculinity formulated from his art, exposing as fact an incessant policy of affirming the homosexual existence as well as masculine and masculine.
