Some chapters of Italo Calvino´s Palomar have been analysed in the light of the main character´s wish to understand himself, coming into contact with the world through his observation and description of social and natural elements. From this reading we present some reflections on the relationship between the narrator and the main character and on the concept of literature which arises in our analysis.Downloads
