Drawing on studies on decoloniality, cultural hybridization, and plurinational identities, this article presents a qualitative-interpretative analysis of the “Originários Guide: your language, your vote, your representation.” The guide presented information about the 2024 elections to the members of these communities in the Mebêngokrê, Munduruku, Nheengatu, Tupi, Wai-Wai, and Tenetehar languages. The content was made available in booklets, videos, and oral translations provided during discussion groups in Indigenous territories, blending ancestral worldviews with the organization of the electoral process. The analysis reveals a discourse on national cultures as representations of a multiple, hybrid, and broad matrix, from which emerges an idea of the nation-state that also emphasizes rights and guarantees shared equally by all, while considering their differences.
