The teaching-learning process cannot ignore the changes of reality. It is necessary that the school moves closer to the actual facts and brings them to the classroom in order to promote a reflection. Among several approaches existing at the school, we chose the media, which is increasingly present in the citizens’ life. This article proposes reflections on the possible dialogue among speech, media and education, considering that different languages should be included in the classroom so that can development of reading competence and skills and the production of different discourses that permeate the contemporary society. To achieve this goal we aim to dialogue with the studies of Maingueneau (2004, 2014), considering the discourse theoretical frame, Martin-Barbero (1996, 2012) and Setton (2011) concerning media studies and Silva (2011) and Sanfelice (2009) with regard to interaction and classroom. From these, taking into account the concepts of speech, media and education, we can say that the use of the media enable the most significant teaching-learning for those involved in this process.Downloads
