Linha D'Água has been published by the Postgraduate Program in Philology and Portuguese Language at the University of São Paulo since 1980.

The journal aims to cover a wide range of fields, including the Portuguese language, language teaching for natives, oral, written, and digital modalities, literature, discursive processes, and Portuguese as a second language.

The journal publishes articles, reviews, translations, and interviews in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish as part of its quarterly special issues. All submissions must adhere to Linha D’Água’s publication policies. For further information: Click Here.

Peer Review Evaluation Process
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

All papers submitted following the journal's guidelines undergo evaluation by two members of the Editorial Board. In the event of differing opinions between the reviewers, a third reviewer is assigned to mediate the decision-making process. Following the analysis, authors receive feedback on their manuscripts along with instructions for any necessary revisions. Manuscripts that do not adhere to the journal's policies are returned to the authors. The information and concepts presented in the texts are the sole responsibility of the authors. The final decision, however, is up to the Editors to make.

Open Access Policy
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Linha D’Água provides open access to its content, adhering to the principle that the public dissemination of scientific knowledge promotes greater global equality of knowledge.

No Article Processing Charges Policy
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Linha D'Água does not use article processing charges (APCs). The journal does not impose any submission or processing fees for articles. Articles published in this journal incur no cost to the author.
