The fifth number Literartes digital magazine proposes a reflection on ethnic and racial issues in the literature for children and young people, offering the look on the african-Brazilian and indigenous issues. With this perspective, the objective is to discuss the nature of ethnic and racial representation within the multiplicity of cultures and identities revealed in the literary and cultural productions for children and young people.
