Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to review some Mallarmé's ideas concerning the arts with special emphasis on the questions about the relation between the several arts, both from the perspective of poetic creation. Additionally, this essay aims to show the importance of these questions in the way the author conceived his poetics and, in particular, in hia idealisation of the Livre.
