Yamin’s sociocultural and mythical creation of colonized Indonesia by the Dutch for 350 years

Resumen

El propósito de esta investigación es conocer los aspectos socioculturales de Muhammad Yamin en el proceso de elaboración del mito de los 350 años desde que Indonesia fue colonizada por los colonialistas holandeses. Esta investigación utiliza un enfoque cualitativo descriptivo y también sociocultural desde Kuntowijoyo. Los datos fueron recolectados por medio de estudio de literatura, análisis de documentos, tanto los resultados del primer congreso nacional de historia en 1957, perfiles y manuscritos académicos de M. Yamin. Los resultados muestran que el mito de los 350 años de Indonesia siendo colonizada por los colonialistas holandeses fue creado deliberadamente en 1936, su objetivo era debilitar el espíritu de lucha y la unidad del pueblo indonesio. Luego, el mito fue adoptado por M. Yamin, con un objetivo diferente, a saber, fomentar un espíritu de lucha de nacionalismo, patriotismo y la unidad del pueblo indonesio durante el período colonial. Hasta que finalmente, la versión de Yamin de la filosofía de la historia comenzó a ser revisada por historiadores críticos, mientras que el mito de los 350 años de Indonesia siendo colonizada por los holandeses fue estudiado por G.J Resink en 1968, y fue disipada con éxito y aceptada como un nuevo hecho histórico en 2012.
