Henrique Magalhães : a militant of the Brazilian comics

Abstract

The article is about the journey of the Brazilian comic writer, editor and researcher Henrique Magalhães. The biographic approach is articulated to the cultural history and to the methodology of oral history, from a view about his militancy in favor of the national comics, particularly as editor. We also seek to introduce characters created by the author, inserted in his humor comics, in which he announce his political and social criticism and his position in defence of the minorities and its demands.
