Abstract

This paper aims to analyze comparatively the short story
“Quatro histórias” by Walter Benjamin and the short
story “A quinta história” by Clarice Lispector. The purpose
of this essay is to examine the structure of those
short stories and the characters of those narratives such
as an allegory of the human condition that could be associated
with uncanny and the unease in the society.
