From poorly designed stairs, lack of preferential seats, ticket distribution system that allows easy access for people with disabilities or reduced mobility, or even a show that takes into account the different profiles of people who attend it, all of these examples are about inclusion. For many people, this does not raise awareness, then some professionals in events and the culture market are starting a process of education and dissemination on best practices that lead to a culture in which all stages of an event can be planned to consider differences and the need to respect others to make events accessible.
Based on her experience in the field of culture, Renata Aglai talks to Organicom about an aspect that still has a long way to go: accessibility in events, in acess to culture. In a country where there is still so much to discuss about access for different groups, the interviewee is dedicated to improve her perspective and teach those involved in events and the culture market about the importance to consider the difference. It was in this spirit that we talked remotely about the legal and cultural reality to conjugate the verb to include.
